Pilot project in rural Nova Scotia is featured on CBC

CBC News highlighted our pilot project in rural Nova Scotia aimed at restoring rivers and addressing climate change through river alkalinity restoration.

Nova Scotia’s rivers still suffer from acid rain. Restoring them could also help the climate

CBC highlighted our pilot project in rural Nova Scotia aimed at restoring rivers and addressing climate change. Our innovative approach leverages a proprietary solution to reduce river acidity and enhance carbon dioxide removal from the atmosphere.

Adding alkaline material to rivers — which studies suggest already absorb billions of tonnes of carbon dioxide every year — renders them less acidic, which in turn increases their ability to absorb more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Thank you, Moira Donovan and the CBC team for sharing our story. Read the full article to learn more about the potential of river alkalinity restoration.
