CarbonRun Named Venture of the Year: Scaleup at the 2025 Atlantic Canada Cleantech Awards

We are thrilled to announce that CarbonRun has been named the Venture of the Year: Scaleup winner at the 2025 Atlantic Canada Cleantech Awards! This recognition from Foresight Canada marks a significant milestone in our journey to scale our carbon removal solutions and drive meaningful change for the climate.

The award celebrates CarbonRun’s innovative approach to environmental technology, particularly our River Alkalinity Enhancement (RAE) solution, which helps restore river ecosystems while capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As we expand our impact, this honour highlights the hard work and dedication of our team, partners, and supporters, all of whom have been instrumental in bringing our mission to life.

Dr. Shannon Sterling, Founder, CSO and COO, and Dr. Eddie Halfyard, Co-Founder and CTO, accepted the award on behalf of the team at the awards ceremony on April 14, 2025, in Halifax.
